Securing the future of children affected by the 2011 earthquake

On March 11, 2011, Japan suffered a great tragedy. It was hit by a powerful earthquake and tsunami that led to the loss of countless lives and property.

Ten years later, the people of Japan have managed to rebuild their lives. But some areas still need our support. For example, schools in the disaster-hit areas have been facing shortage of necessary educational materials and school equipment as well as lack of funds for school activities.

We strongly believe that people are the future. We work with organizations committed to building a more equal, sustainable society for all.

The National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan has been working tirelessly towards rebuilding the educational infrastructure for children affected by the tragedy.

On the 10th anniversary of the tragedy, we pledge 1 million yen to support the activities of the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan to secure the future of children affected by the earthquake and tsunami. We hope that this small contribution will go a long way in supporting the education of these children.
