Anurag Goel co-founded Cactus Communications along with his brother Abhishek in 2002. He led the company as CEO till 2017, and was responsible for its initial growth, making the company a global entity with offices in Japan, the US, the UK, China, South Korea, Singapore, and India. Anurag has played an important role in shaping the culture at CACTUS, which has been recognized for its people practices with awards like India’s Best Mid-sized Workplace (Great Place to Work®) and Top 10 Safe Places to Work.
Anurag has over 23 years of expertise across strategy, M&A, technology & AI, and corporate development. As part of corporate development, his key interest areas are strategy, people management, branding building, organization design, and leadership development. Anurag has worked with McKinsey & Company, based initially in Amsterdam and then in India. He completed engagements in the areas of corporate finance and strategy practice for companies in diverse industries: logistics, metals and mining, steel, telecommunications, and financial services. Anurag graduated from the prestigious Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology with degrees in Computer Science and Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Abhishek Goel

Co-founder and CEO

After a chance encounter with a Japanese professor who needed support in editing his research paper, Abhishek Goel co-founded Cactus Communications in 2002. Today he continues to build, develop, and scale the organization. He has been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 by Ascent Foundation and among 100 Inspirational Leaders of Asia 2020 by White Page International.
Prior to founding CACTUS, Abhishek was a part of the international non-profit organization AIESEC in various leadership roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Mumbai and has a deep understanding of customer experience, commitment to innovation, and entrepreneurial vision. Under his leadership, CACTUS has won recognition like being featured among the Best Companies for Millennials, Top 20 Companies for Remote Jobs, and Best Organization for Women Empowerment/Women Talent Development.

Sameer Kamboj is a Conscious Entrepreneur and the founder of SKC.World, a company that aims to plant the seed of consciousness in entrepreneurship. He is an expert in change management, business efficiency improvement, and strategy roadmaps. With over 24 years as an entrepreneur, Sameer brings his experience in consulting, coaching, mentoring, masterclasses, and events to achieve its goal of touching a million lives at SKC.World.
Sameer has been on CACTUS’s board of directors as a non-executive director since 2017 and continues to provide exceptional, unique, result-oriented, and implementable business solutions. He is also a member of the board of directors of Oriental Bell Ltd. Apart from CACTUS, Sameer has held various advisory positions in Geneva Group International, GT Cargo.
Sameer is a mentor to entrepreneurs across the globe and aims to help people live life consciously. He has co-authored the book The Possibilities of Potential. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a Certified Leadership Management International Coach and Licensee.

Siddharth Nautiyal

Siddharth Nautiyal is a Partner at Omidyar Network India, where he oversees areas like strategy and investments across Education, Emerging Tech, and Financial Inclusion. Before joining Omidyar Network India, Siddharth was an entrepreneur, angel investor, and mentor to various start-up companies across Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Pune. He incubated and advised companies in edtech and home relocation; invested in fintech, B2B SAAS, and consumer internet companies; and served on the board of India’s largest distributed clean energy company.
Siddharth has been on CACTUS’s board of directors as a non-executive director since 2016. He also sits on the board of companies like myUpchar.com, Bounce, RailYatri.in, Vedantu, Healofy, Pratilpi, and Goodera.
With over 22 years of work experience, Siddharth started his career with McKinsey & Company and then worked with Bessemer Venture Partners. He holds a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a B.Tech. degree in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
