CACTUS announces “The How of Doing Research” webinar series to empower researchers and the academic community

Cactus Communications (CACTUS), a science communication and technology company, has announced the launch of its new webinar series, “The How of Doing Research.” This series has been created after analyzing a vast amount of data, including questions from researchers, popular articles, and in-person interactions, highlighting the global needs and challenges of early career researchers.

Designed by CACTUS, the series aims to empower researchers and the academic community with expert insights, guidance, and practical tips, thereby enhancing their research experience and facilitating publication excellence. It offers a unique opportunity for diverse stakeholders to lead in research advancements, elevate their scholarly output, and foster collaboration within the academic community.

The first webinar under the new series is “The How of Doing Research: Writing the background of your study” and will be conducted on August 22, 2023, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM IST. This free webinar is specifically crafted for researchers and participants to help them improve their manuscript writing skills and gain valuable guidance on drafting an effective, relevant, and well-structured background for their study. The webinar also aims to address participants’ common queries and provide insights into the do’s and don’ts of creating an engaging and captivating background for readers. The inaugural webinar will be conducted by Emily Leavitt, a seasoned freelance editor proficient in anthropology, ESL, and translation. With a fervour for utilizing her expertise to assist authors, students, and professors in enhancing their writing, she will guide participants in conveying their core message in a concise, descriptive, and accurate manner.
