Cactus Communications (CACTUS) provided pro bono support to the 9th World Conference on Research Integrity (WCRI) by offering structured, peer review assistive data through its Paperpal Preflight platform.
The information provided by CACTUS was designed to supply consistent, evidence-based data points to complement the conference’s established peer review process. Final decisions on abstract selection were made by expert peer reviewers, whose evaluations remained the sole basis for acceptance decisions.
This support was provided on a pro bono basis, reflecting CACTUS’ commitment to contributing to the global research integrity community.
Chris Graf, Co-Chair of the 9th WCRI, commented, “The 9th WCRI is grateful for the CACTUS team’s expertise and time screening abstracts submitted to the conference, to add to the great work done by the many peer reviewers who also shared their expertise and time.”
Akhilesh Ayer, CEO, Cactus Communications, said, “We are pleased to have contributed to the 9th WCRI by providing structured, peer review assistive checks that complemented the conference’s abstract evaluation process.”
Nikesh Gosalia, Chief Partnership Officer, Cactus Communications, added, “Supporting WCRI reinforced our belief that research integrity scales best when expert judgment is complemented by consistent, evidence-based insights. We’re grateful to WCRI and the wider community for the opportunity to contribute to this important effort.”
