Thank you for choosing to sign the THINK Academia Pledge. We appreciate you taking this step towards creating an academia where researchers feel safe, valued, and included.

We encourage all researchers, academic staff, and institutions that are against bullying in academia and who would like to publicly declare their stance on this issue, to sign the THINK Academia Pledge. We also welcome non-teaching university staff and employees from research-related organizations to sign the THINK Academia Pledge as individuals.

How do you wish to sign the THINK Academia pledge?

I hereby publicly pledge that I will consciously and mindfully check my behaviour against the statements listed in the THINK Academia Pledge, uphold the standard of behaviour it prescribes, adhere to the recommended guidelines, and strive to make academia a better and safer place for all.

  • I have entered my own name and other details in the form above.
  • If I am signing as an individual, I grant THINK Academia my permission to publicly display my name, institutional affiliation, and country as a signatory of the THINK Academia Pledge.
  • If I am signing on behalf of an institution, I confirm that my institution has authorized me to do so, and I grant THINK Academia permission to publicly display the name of my institution and the country in which it is located.
  • THINK Academia reserves the right to vet and remove signatories who break these agreements.
