Paperpal Preflight, a manuscript assessment and publication readiness tool by Cactus Communications (CACTUS), partners with EndNoteTM, a reference management software from ClarivateTM, to offer seamless integration of Paperpal into EndNote ‘Cite While You Write’ (CWYW) Add-in. The EndNote CWYW tool allows authors to insert references into Microsoft Word or Google Docs, automatically creating in-text citations and reference lists. With this new integration, Paperpal will enhance the process by providing language and technical compliance checks, ensuring manuscripts are submission ready.
This collaboration will enable EndNote users to access Paperpal Preflight’s dedicated configuration, which performs comprehensive checks on manuscripts, spanning technical compliance and language quality checks, ensuring appropriate grammar, writing mechanics, readability, and academic vocabulary. It will also review technical aspects related to references, disclosures, limits, figure, tables etc. Post assessment, a free submission readiness report will be generated, highlighting areas of compliance and areas needing improvement.
Nishchay Shah, Chief Technology Officer and Head, AI Products, Cactus Communications said, “We are excited to partner with Clarivate and integrate Paperpal’s language and technical checks into the EndNote ‘Cite While You Write’ add-in. This partnership aligns with our mission to power research by simplifying the manuscript submission process, ensuring the researcher’s work adheres to the required submission standards. By combining our expertise with the trusted EndNote application, we aim to provide comprehensive support to the global scientific community.”
Throughout the partnership, Paperpal will provide engineering and product management support to ensure seamless integration with EndNote systems.
